Designmodule allows players to design and customize various ship
modules. Each module type affects different ship attributes. The
effectiveness of the module depends on the ship's size and specific
attributes as detailed below.
(Module Types)
- laser: Enhances the ship's laser weaponry.
- ion: Enhances the ship's ion cannon weaponry.
- missile: Enhances the ship's missile weaponry.
- torpedo: Enhances the ship's torpedo weaponry.
- rocket: Enhances the ship's rocket weaponry.
- shield: Increases the ship's shield strength.
- engine: Increases the ship's speed.
- hyperdrive: Increases the ship's hyperspeed capability.
- powerplant: Increases the ship's energy capacity.
- armor: Increases the ship's hull durability.
- maneuver: Enhances the ship's maneuverability.
- cargo: Increases the ship's cargo capacity.
- hangar: Increases the ship's hangar space.

Designing modules affects ship attributes as follows:
Powerplant: Increases energy capacity by 100 * size modifier
Shields: Increases shield strength by 100 * size modifier
Armor: Increases hull durability by 100 * size modifier
Maneuver: Enhances maneuverability by 1 * inverse size modifier
Engine: Increases speed by 1 * inverse size modifier
Cargo: Increases cargo capacity by 5
Hyperdrive: Increases hyperspeed capability by 10
Hangar: Increases hangar space by 3 * size modifier
Jammer: Increases chaff capacity by 1
Missile Weapon: Enhances missile weaponry by 1
Rocket: Enhances rocket weaponry by 1

Corvette: Size modifier 3, Inverse size modifier 8
Transport: Size modifier 4, Inverse size modifier 7
Midship: Size modifier 5, Inverse size modifier 6
Frigate: Size modifier 6, Inverse size modifier 5
Cruiser: Size modifier 7, Inverse size modifier 4
Destroyer: Size modifier 8, Inverse size modifier 3
Carrier: Size modifier 9, Inverse size modifier 2
Capital Ship: Size modifier 10, Inverse size modifier 1
