MULTIPLAYING MULTI
* You can only multiplay with a MAX of two characters online at once.
* All interactions between alts MUST be roleplayed (we're RP enforced anyway).
* All transfers of things of value greater than say, a blaster, should be
approved by an immortal. These include ships, rare items, penthouses, and credits (more than 100k).
* Engineering services rendered between alts are OK provided the
interaction contains RP and is handled the same as it would have between
non-alts.
* You can NOT have your alts manning your capital ships, botting packages,
running cargo, spamming guards/propaganda, or following you for combat gains.
This will count as botting and will be punished as such.
* Droids are the only exception to botting, ONLY for cargo and propeganda. (help droid)
* You CANNOT claim a bounty placed by one alt with your BH alt.
* The key take away is that multiplaying is allowed to enhance your RP as well
allow multiple players sharing an IP address to play. If your alts are interacting, a third person should not be able to easily tell
that it's the same person controlling each.
- Examples of abusing multiplay:
- Handing gear to alts
- Using an alt to level main or vice versa leveling an alt
- Grouping with own alt to take down supermobs
- Using a forcer/leadership or other toon to buff main
- Using a smuggler or slicer to steal anything that can benefit your alt
- Trying to spy on organizations with an alt
- Leaving on alt trigger spamming to adept skills for legend
- Examples of good multiplay
- Running engineer business
- Droid running cargo
- Diplomat engaging in political RP
LotS is intended for you to primarily play on one main character. Multiplay was allowed in an era
where very few players were around. It has been kept around because it can enhance RP and overall
gameplay. Not following any of the multiplay rules can result in punishment, to include loss of
multiplay priveledge and total loss of your character.
